I have spent over a decade working in high-performance sport and behaviour-based health coaching, supporting people at very different stages of their journey.
In triathlon, I have coached athletes across the full pathway, from juniors entering structured training to athletes competing at European and World Championship level. As a British Triathlon Level 3 High Performance Coach, I spent nine years within the British Triathlon Performance Team and six years at the Leeds Triathlon Centre, one of the UK’s most successful high-performance environments.
From 2016 to 2025, I also led the Yorkshire Triathlon Academy as Head Coach. As the first step in the national talent pathway, the academy plays a key role in developing future elite athletes. During this time, athletes I worked with qualified for European and World Championships, competed in European Cups, achieved National Super Series podiums, BUCS podiums and won the London Mini Marathon.
Alongside performance sport, I work in the field of metabolic health and lifestyle behaviour change. As a coach on the NHS Diabetes Prevention and Remission programmes, I support adults living with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes to make sustainable improvements in nutrition, physical activity, sleep and stress management.
Although performance sport and wellbeing may appear different on the surface, both rely on the same foundations: clarity, structure, accountability and consistent behaviours over time.
My experience in elite sport informs how I think about long-term development, while my work in wellbeing reinforces the importance of sustainable, realistic change.
